Kelly Luft Stanley & Ashton Advocates

Kelly Luft Stanley & Ashton is the longest established legal practice in the Isle of Man, tracing its heritage back to 1844, some 15 years before the incorporation of the Isle of Man Law Society in 1859 - of which Jason Stanley was President from January 2011 to January 2013.

Whilst our p
ractice has had numerous incarnations over the past 175 years, today the practice is carried on under the name of Kelly Luft Stanley and Ashton, the name it has maintained for over 49 years.

Previously located for over 70 years in Athol Street opposite the Old Courthouse, in 2004 following the relocation of the Isle of Man Courts of Justice the firm chose to relocate to improved premises opposite the new Court buildings.

The firm's premises enjoy an ideal location, convenient for the Isle of Man Courts of Justice, the Isle of Man Land and Deeds Registries, the Isle of Man Companies Registry, the offices of the Registrar of births deaths and marriages, the Isle of Man Probate Office, as well as the Isle of Man Shipping and Aircraft Registries.

The partners of the firm are Jason Stanley who has been with the firm since being called to the Manx bar in 1991, and Jenifer Stanley who previously worked at international law firm Travers Smith and at Cains Advocates, and who joined the firm in 2009 after having had time away from practice to raise a family.

We are a family firm through and through, and take pride in the high standards of work and integrity for which the firm is renowned.
